Why do people get so heated about people putting up Christmas early? It's not because we're trying to bypass Thanksgiving, it's just that Thanksgiving is more cheerful with some Christmas festiveness to it. I think it's liberals thinking that republicans are trying to override a non-religious holiday with a religious one such as Christmas. Not true.

We aren't decorating at all this year. We are moving out of state right before Christmas so whatever inlaws have up when we go visit is their call. Normally we put Christmas decorations up the week of Thanksgiving, but it's not a big deal to me either way.

OMFG, not everything is about politics. Some of us don't care all that much for Christmas and feel like it's just shoved down our throat by big retailers starting in September. I just prefer to take each holiday as it comes. It doesn't have anything to do with political parties, and not all Christians are Republicans.

I love Christmas! I don't love during Halloween! We usually decorate after Thanksgiving! About the day after!

Why should any one really care when someone decorates their places for anything..... It's a personal choice. Some people up here in NH put their decorations up before it gets to cold and snowing. Does it bother me, no, why should it.

I live in a liberal area, and I've never heard anyone say something like that. That's silly.

Also, just because you're liberal, it doesn't mean your not religious.

I find that comment to be ignorant.

I don't decorate the outside. We will put up tree after Christmas. They will be two small trees instead of one big one like lasy year because we don't have room for a big one. I also put out a little bit of decorations inside.
