Didn't buy them anatomically correct dolls, but they did have anatomically correct paper dolls.  Never really thought about it... and neither did they.  Just the initial question.... "why is this one like this, and the other like that?"  Answer;  "She's a girl and he's a boy".  End of discussion.

i don't see anything wrong with it, but i honestly do not want a baby that looks real around here!  only because it would freak me out and i would have to remember it's a doll!

Sure.  Why not?  I directed a preschool and we had anatomically correct dolls in the classroom.  Why would it be a problem?

No.  I hated dolls and barbies growing up and did not want them for my girls either. Thankfully neither of them had an interest.  I don't undersand why we want kids pretending to be mommies to these babies. It's a bizarre concept to me.
