My license was suspended today... I got into an accident on 9/11 and the BMV required me to send in information showing that I had insurance (Even though we went through all of the legal stuff and my insurance paid for the other persons car). I didn't know I had to send in information until they sent me something in the mail in late October. Well the BMV is saying they never got the information even though USAA (my insurance) says it was received on November 8th... So now i'm without a licence and on the uninsured motorist list til this gets resolved :-(
That's crappy.... I hope it gets resolved....
btw... I reported the 1st poster as spam abuse for ya! LOL
Haha, thanks! I talked to my insurance agency and they are resending the stuff showing when they sent it the first time but until the BMV opens I can't do much else until they say that they got it.

They sent it via e-file and there is a confirmation from my insurance but I still got the letter in the mail saying it was suspended. The BMV here doesn't have a 24 hour line so we have to call tomorrow but our insurance says that there is confirmation on their side that it was sent.
Quoting Judi888:If they faxed it--there should be a confirmation paper
Indiana is weird. It's the BMV here, haha. Bureau of Motor Vehicles. Ya, you'd think they'd give me some kind of fair warning.
Quoting DieselsMom:DMV??? You should have gotten notice that they hadn't recieved it before they just suspended your license! Hopefully you can get it all straightened out though!
