Biologically my daughter isn't my husband's. we met and married when she was 2. While decorating our tree last night she was looking at our "family" ornament from her first Christmas. After a moment of looking puzzled, she said "mama, was daddy working or on vacation then?" It melts my heart that she doesn't remember life before my husband and reminds me despite the minor faults he has and fights we may have he is an amazing man. <3
