After I over exposed myself to the news when OKC bombing happened, I've never been able to watch these tragedies for more than a day. OKC hit me personally and every time a new tragedy occurs, that's where I go back too. That panic, fear, insecurity resurfaces and I spend weeks trying to recover.

I did watch the President tonight, and for once, I completely agreed with him. I felt inspired and I saw a true leader.

It's hard to watch, but it's also hard to avoid.  It's nearly on every channel, and it's all over the Internet.  At this point, I'm waiting for the moment when I am no longer capable of producing tears.

We don't have tv in our home because its not geared for families anymore but I am fed up with Facebook. Stop glorifying tragedies and maybe they will stop happening

I have avoided it shortly after I heard about the shooting. People are posting and sharing it all over fb. I am now avoiding fb. At least here I can choose not to open a post about it. It hit really close to home. I have a 5 & 6 yo. ETA I won't even listen to the radio now.
