Updated: my reg dr. Is out til jan. 9th. The dr. Taking her place says I need to see her but he highly suspects its something GI related and is putting in a referral for a GI specialist but he wants me to keep the HIDA scan appointment because it could still take a week or more for the GI appointment.

It's manageable. Transitioning to a new diet sucked major balls but now that I'm finally "there," it's actually not so bad.
Not trying to scare you but after what I've been going through this past month with my DH. I suggest you get a barium CT done to look for any unusual masses. Mainly in your "trunk" area.
My DH thought he had Crohn's...yeah that's not what he has. And I'd tell you what but we're not even 100% sure. As this has just happened in the last 32 days.

I have colitis. Right now, I'm magically cured since I'm pregnant (woulda thought pregnancy would have made it worse). But gluten and dairy aggravated things so I cut out gluten completely and cut way back on dairy. I also had to take three pills every morning which act as anti-inflammatories.

It looks like flesh from your body coming out in the toilet...kinda like bloody tissue.

So I basically had very mucousy stools.
Nope not exactly. My DH's case is very unique though. In my DH's case it turned out to be a form of cancer. BUT and it is a big BUT... his doctor found a HUGE tumor near his small intestines. The tumor's core is benigh but because it wasn't caught until now my DH's Spindle Cells went into overdrive and so now my DH has Spindle Cell Cancer.
GIST (Gastrointestinal Stromal Tumor) are usually none cancerous and very treatable. A lot of people have the small tumors. Most people don't even know they have them because they don't cause problems. Or at least that's what we've been told.
My DH was just diagnosed on the 5th with Spindle Cell Cancer. But we don't have an official stage yet. And we found out last Thursday that he has GIST. His GIST is the primary illness. His Spindle Cell Cancer is the secondary illness.
Soooo that is why I suggest a Barium CT. Any abnormal growths like GIST's are easier to see on Barium CT's verses standard CT's or MRI's.
