Why were WE denied foodstamps?

My husband and I just landed on Earth  after a long journey from Uranus.  

Seeing that we are both from another planet we immediately went to the foodstamp office and we were denied.

Here is the reason they gave us:

THEN, you will be approved.... get man from mars, stop limiting yourself to Uranus.....oh, and don't forget to mention you can't work cause you're pregnant, and won't be able to afford daycare, not that you'd have anyone else raising your baby anyhow....
