My first name is SUPPOSED to be hyphenated. My name is supposed to be Anna-Marie but the person who wrote the Birth Certificate didn't put the hyphen in when it was sent off to the state :( so it's not.

I've heard this before. La dash sha. So maybe? Also someone in the military spelled their name with a dash and it was spelled that way dash
