Good morning all, hoping all is well with everyone.

I am going to be a grandmother soon and just wanted some nicknames for grandma as i don't want to be called grandma

Bubbie.... my baby's Bubbie said 'hell no' to Grandma but she said that Bubbie is cool as all get out.  So we went with it.  Now I even call her Bubbie or Bubster!!!!

How about granny?  I am not of much help since my gs calls me gramma or granny........

I just became a grandmother. .I go by Grammie. My sister go by Grandmum and grandmom, my friends MIL goes by Gi Gi (gorgeous grandmother). There's always nanna, granny, meme, . You could look up the term grandmother for your nationality.

Usually kids decide what to call grandma anyway.  Grammy, Nana, Mimi, grannie.  Why don't you like grandma?

My DS cause my grandmother GiGi, and my mom Nana, and my step mom Mimi. Cute little names I think.

Nanny, Nonna (pronounced like Donna), Ganna, Grammy, Grams, Granny, Grinny

 My mom is Nonnie. My only living grandmother (who is a great grandmother now obviously) is GG. My other grandmothers/great grandmothers were Grammy, Grams, and Grandmama

 I love MiMi and GiGi. My son calls my grandmother GG.
