sore nose

So I've been sick over the past few days, my nose has taken a beating between my allergies and the cold I had. It's all dry and cracked right under it, flakey skin, etc... What can I put on it to help it heal faster, or am i just gonna have to live with it until it gets better on it's own?

Vaseline, or some antibacterial ointment if you have any.

Chapstick with moistirizer always wworks for me.
