If your relationship is at this point where you feel you can't trust your mate and you have to snoop through their things then it may be that your relationship has gotten into a dangerous place.

Snooping on children - yes. Snooping on dh/so - no. Snooping on anyone else you may know - no. That's just tacky and nosy.

On your children if you think something is going on, absoultely! On an adult- Never, grow a pair and ask them if you think something isn't right.

It is when you do it on your kids. As long as they are in your home and under the age of 18, you have a right to know everything going on in their life......as it will affect you.
