**update** my boys surgery went well

Posted by   + Show Post
My boys surgery went well I'm proud of how well they did my 3yr old was screaming a bit but only because when he woke up he was confused and scared of where he was but they let me in the recovery room and he was fine he also ripped his IV out when he did freak out but they were able to get me to give him morphine orally. My 4yr old woke up feeling fine he also didn't rip his IV out so the morphine helped him stay calm and relaxed although he did seem eager to move around shortly after. My 3 yr old came around pretty fast sitting up chatting and eating Popsicles my 4yr old just wanted to relax and drink ginger ale. My 4yr old just gets very upset when he sees the blood so when we change his gauze and looking at it so we get him to cover his eyes so it doesn't bother him. My 3 yr old says it hurts a little when we change it but he also doesn't look. It does hurt when they pee when they get urine on the gauze and then of course change it. Their doing well though we're trying to get them to not move around as much just don't want them to hurt themselves and make it worse but my boys just seem to wanna go lol glad to see that this isn't slowing them down and their doing well though. And I appreciate all the info and your guys input pros and cons.

you might not have it any other way but it is not your body. He might have wanted to keep his whole penis.

And all the girls whose moms pierced their ears as infants and small children might grow up to wish they didn't have holes in their ears.... Whoopty Doo!!!!

Sure they would. That is what they say because that is all they have ever known. I'll bet they don't even know the functions of the foreskin. They more than likely grew up in a pro-cutting culture such as the USA where hacking off parts of a baby boy's genitals is the norm so of course they would want to be considered "normal". Times are changing though and this barbaric procedure is being questioned all over the world. Circumcision rates are dropping all over the USA and in the rest of the world they don't routinely cut boys so most men are intact.  Boys cut today will be surrounded by whole boys and they will know what they are missing so instead of being thankful for having less penis, those cut boys will question their parents on why they had a part of their penis cut off at birth.  Even right now, there are thousands upon thousands of men who are not happy they were cut at birth and are seeking foreskin restoration. The foreskin restoration movement is a huge movement and it's growing stronger everyday.  Your sons say that now ,but I'll bet if they were left with their whole penis they would thankful to you for leaving them whole..

My sons were done as newborn s. When they were adults we had a conversation about it all 3 said they would have been very unhappy if they had NOT been done.

That comparison is ridiculous. Little holes in your ears do NOT change the function of your ears. That said,  I don't agree with piercing the ears of a baby and my DD's ears are not pierced.

Well yay for you. It must be so hard to know everything and be so perfect. Let me praise you and kiss your feet. SMH!

That's rightvthey do not have any idea on their bodies and what makes them happy they need you to tell them. Oh wait you do not know how your kid will feel when he grows up.

No, I don't know everything and I am far from perfect but I do know one thing......it's not right to cut off healthy, functional, and normal body parts in your infant.  It's a violation of their rights and thankfully most of the world sees it as this.  Anyway, the purpose of my commenting on this post was not to talk about RIC , but about the OPs doctors and their complete ignorance about the normal (intact) penis and it's development. I'll bet anything her doctors and "specialists" are cut themselves.
