Went to a resturant the other day with SO and this was posted right by our table. Doesnt it seam a little outdated to be trying to enforce stuff like this? Considering you cant really tell one stranger from the next any more.

Well what was the atmosphere like? Was it a stuck up kind of place or fun? Were there other signs like this? You should call them and ask about it, I would just out of curiosity.

Im aware.. they still have absurd laws every where. In some towns in arkansas its illegal to sell chickens in the day time at the square. By rumor I suppose you can flick boogers in public in alabama. Lol maybe they havent gotten around to doing away with it

My guess is that it wasn't intended to be taken seriously.

Sounds like an old law from the depression era that's still on the books.  There's all kinds of them that are out dated and some are just too funny.   Oregon had/has one (not sure if they changed it yet); a single female may not sit at the bar and drink.  This was in order to prevent prostitutes from taking $$ from service men and spreading STDs during WWII.
