You just found out that you have someone very important to go which completely slipped your mind and you have nothing to wear that fits the outing. SO is dressed and you have time to take a shower but not to look for clothes yourself. Can you trust SO to leave quickly and get you something appropriate or you know you will look a mess and just say forget it?

No way.  He wouldn't think of my weather tolerance, whether or not the shoes fit the style/occasion.... the last outfit he bought me was a pink jumper dress thing that had tiny little flowers all over it and it CAME WITH a cream colored, longsleeve turtleneck, in 1996.  In his defense, it was to wear to a very conservative, fundy church, but damn.  I was a size 2 back then.  Why don't I just wear a fridge box?

My husband already does buy all my clothes for me. I would live in a sweatshirt and jeans if he didn't!  Now I wear 4 inch heels, cute sun dresses, designer jeans, etc...he has much better taste than I do (or at least he cares more :))

I could trust him to some degree, if it's simple.
