I just wanted to tell you guys there is a cup that for every cup you buy they donate a cup to a girl in need in kenya. I think it was called the ruby cup. The girls on kenya will use cow ding and rags off factory floors coated in chemicals.

1 mom liked this

these things give me UTI's. Gross and unsanitary, IMO.

They are not a "good fit" sometimes, and press on your urethra, as well as allowing menstrual blood to back up into your urethra, causing bladder infections.

Which cost money.

Defeating the purpose of using one, to save time, money, and go green.

....umm....your uretha starts on the outside...cups are internal like a tampon. There is no way for the blood to go up the uretha. Also cups do overflow. They put ybe same amont of preasure as a tampon. I actualy cant wear tampons but i can wear them.

If they're poorly fitting, or too large, they indeed can overlap the urethra, so can a tampon. Get an anatomy book to tell that your urethra can lie inside your labial folds, and be very close to where the edge of the cup or the tampon rub.

See inside?? Your urethra is IN THERE, not that up top (where for some odd reason people think is your urethra)

That up on top is the clitoris.

The urethra opening IS on the inside and yes, they can back up and cause UTI's.
