Nope. I'm not really an affectionate person and certainly not in public.

I am for sure and seriously do not understand the moms who say they aren't affectionate.
I think it's sad actually, to not show affection to your children. How do they know they are loved and wanted? Kids need hugs and kisses.

Really. I don't know anyone in my extended family that kisses and hugs each other. I never grew up with it and its strange to me. My kids are all teens and would not want to be kissed. We have seen parents kiss kids goodbye at school and we all look at each other and make a face of "awkward".
If my mom tried to kiss me is freak! No thanks. We show affection in other ways.

I get it that people are like you and your family but I think it's weird. We are a very affectionate and loving family! We are also Italian which has a little to do with it, but I like it. I love kissing and hugging my babies! I work at my kids school now and love being able to go hug my little one during breakfast and sometimes lunch. I can't imagine the coldness of not showing affection to my kids and loved ones.
