CPS TOOK KIDS AND NOW FOSTER FAMILY BEING CHARGED WITH ABUSE!!

My sisters son is severely disabled and somehow broke his leg. The same week he broke his leg he had been fitted for leg braces, a special walker, and had started physical therapy. He is 3 and due to his disability his body doesn't absorb vitamins. He's 3 and weighs 20 lbs.
ANYWAYS they took him to ER and they determined his femur was broke. CPS TOOK BOTH OF HER KIDS WITHIN AN HOUR. They placed them in Foster care.
The court system has passed over indicating my sister due to a specialist saying my sis can't possibly generate enough force to break the femur however they keep sending it before the grand jury. 7 months now she has not seen her boys.
Tuesday my nephews were taken from the Foster family. They sent my disabled nephew to daycare and the staff noticed several bruises on him as well as an imprint of a hand on his butt..
My sister is so tore up. How does this happen??

I am so sorry.

But it happens. A friend of mine had her 3 daughters taken from her cause her oldest who was then 12 yrs old, had her appendix burst, so they claimed lack of medical care. Her dd had never said anything to her mom about being sick (she spent the weekend) with her mother (so the grandmother) Anyways all 3 of girls were taken to foster care were they were not only molested by another foster child, they were also molested by their grandmothers husband while they had visitations.  It went on for 2 yrs before the kids ever spoke out about it.

It was a very sad trial when we went.

When I was a foster parent I constantly had children in my home that clearly were NOT abused or neglected  ... it drove me crazy ...than a child that was in danger would be sent back because there wasn't room !!!  The system is so screwed up. Can you as the Aunt try to get the children?

I tried. I have 4 kids so they wouldn't let me due to not having enough room.

There is ways to make room. My parents are foster parents. They turned a 3 bedroom house into a 4 bedroom house and working on making a 6 bedroom house. They have 2 children of their own living there but have custody of my cousin, and 6 foster children. Get bunk beds. In the boys room at my parents' house they have 5 beds in the boys room and in the girls room they have 3 beds. In the 3rd room is 2 daybeds. They have a special needs girl so she and an older foster girl sleep in there. The babies have cribs in my parents room. There should be a way you can make your house to have enough room to fit your nephews without having to add on to your house or anything like that. My parents have been foster parents going on 5 yrs now.

Not sure what the requirements are there but here you need 25 square feet per child in bedroom, they need their own bed and separate dresser and no more than a 2 year age span for children sharing a room. And no child can have official bedroom shared with adult even infants.
