I agree. Hate to give possible spoilers.

As for other graphic novels, I've been reading some of the New 52 series. I also read some of Eat which I need to pick back up and finish; it's odd but good. The one I'm on right now is called Blood Work which goes with a novel series I read by Kim Harrison.

I've heard of Preacher and Fables but not I LOVE Y. I'll have to look into them some more. I'm always looking for something to read in between Walking Dead volumes. :)

Shane did go too crazy and Rick didn't go crazy enough. And I know this sounds awful but I hope the baby doesn't last because I want Rick to lose his shit for a while. I want to stay on this topic but I'm afraid that if we do and they do follow the story a bit for the show we might give something away, lol. Do you read any other graphic novels? I LOVE Y:The Last Man and I just started in on Preacher which is also pretty awesome and I own the first few books of Fables but have yet to get into them.

Quoting MinglingMom:

I know what you mean! I feel like they also kept Shane around too long and his crazy was too crazy. And what about them keeping the baby? Or how about Andrea's little hook-up with the Governor. WTF? It's just and endless list of crazy! lol

Quoting Vegan_Goddess:

I agree but I also feel like if you don't read the comics you're seriously missing out. I still can't get over the fact that Carl didn't kill Shane in the show. That moment was epic and changed everything. Or those damn messed up twins, or Dale and Andrea (I really thought they were gonna make that happen, seems like they even set it up to happen when  Dale stopped Andrea from killing herself)... lol, I could go one and on and on!!!

Quoting MinglingMom:

Agreed, and I like that they are so different from each other that I can still enjoy both.

Quoting Vegan_Goddess:

Graphic Novels are WAY MORE EPIC!!!

Quoting MinglingMom:

NEVER miss and episode!!! I also read the graphic novel. :)

Same here! I still remember when they announced the series and I thought it was to god to be true. I kept thinking "there's no way they can put this stuff on TV!" They have proven me wrong and done really well with it.

Things happen differently in the comic that cause Woodbury and the prison to not be livable which I imagine they will sort of cover in the upcoming season.

I say "sort of" because the two differ drastically at this point but still follow the general storyline.

Quoting Cafe Steph:

I didn't read the comic before getting into the show so I don't know if they explain that in there or not but I guess Rick was sure the prison was safer?

Quoting Hottmomma607:

Yes! I'm sure?

Why didn't Rick's group take over Woodbury? Wouldn't that made more sense?

Quoting Cafe Steph:

I think so - or you could come back to the thread after you watch it and join the discussion then. I think we'll all still be chatting here for days after, lol.

Quoting Hottmomma607:

I love The Walking Dead! I may not be able to watch at the same time? I am PST! But if I can remember I can do the HD channel early in the evening?? I think I can? That way I can watch and my eastcoast friends on fb&CM won't spoil it for me! lol
