Hi All

Have any of you tried NAET for deadly food allergies (peanuts and tree nuts)?

I am looking for information on this, pros, cons, anything.

Thank you

Can you say what it is because I've never heard of NAET.  Oh... is it that desensitizing treatment where they feed the child the allergie inducing food little bits in a controlled evierment  till their system can handle it?  I've her of that but not something call NAET.

Hello,

My son has been allergic to tree nuts for 9 years. I've never heard of NAET until I read your post. I don't think I'd do anything without my allergists consent. I did hear from my allergist that she thought a cure would be coming soon. I hope so. These types of allergies are awful.

The one you mentioned is one that is done by allergists and is not cover by insurance because is not standard treatment.

For what I've heard, NAET is a natural way of desensitize by holding vials of the allergen, I don't know much and I'm trying to find information, more than their website.

My DD is 5 and it's a horrible feeling. I know they are looking for a cure but they haven't been able to find hte source of the problem.

I hear you when you say you wouldn't do anything your allergist doesn't aprove, however, unless you have an open minded Doctor, you are stuck there. A lot of Drs. do not believe anything natural or different from what they were thaught in med school can work.

I will continue doing my research and on Monday I will ask my pedi what he thinks, I trust him a lot.

Good luck with your allergies, I know I need it
