The Cafe The Cafe

Are your kids allowed into you and your hubby's bedroom without having to ask?

Are they allowed in and out as they please?

ETA: To some moms that say that their room are "always off limits", why is that?

If the door is open, they may enter without asking. If it's closed, they need to knock.

Yes. If the door is shut, they know they must knock. Otherwise, they can come and go as they please.

We lock the door if we're having sex. Other than that, I don't see a reason to not let our kids in our room. I think people who make their room off limits to their kids are so strange...

Not always. We close and lock it when we want privacy.

If I am in there and have the door open. Other wise no. They are not allowed in if I am not in there and if its closed there is a reason for it and its usually locked if its closed.

If either DH or I are not in our room the kids have to stay out!

If the door is open and we are in the room then they are free to come in. Trying to teach them when it's closed to knock... Why? Because parents need personal space sometimes and I believe the bedroom is that place plus we keep things in our room we don't want the boys getting into.

Quoting momofthem311: If the door is open, of course. If is closed it's locked and they couldn't get in anyway. They knock
