Would you let your daughter go to a sleepover if the parent was a single dad?

One of my friends is a single dad to an 13yo girl and he said she always tries to plan sleepovers but it hardly ever works out because he's a single dad and other parents don't trust him with their daughters. He, another friend, and I all grew up together so the other friend and I let our girls go to his house for sleepovers with his girl all the time.

Would you let your daughter have a sleepover with a girl whose dad was single? Why or why not?

Yes. I don't see why other people would not. Being a single dad is no different then being a single mom.

It would completely depend on how well I knew the dad.

I dont allow my kids to go anywhere. So it doesnt matter if its a single mom, single dad or married couple.

I would have to know the parent regardless of whether it was a mom or a dad. If I was comfortable with the person then yes, of course.
