There is a lady on ig named premadonna87 & she stole my picture to sell her waist trainer. The only reason I found out about this is because my husband's cousin was looking into buying one for herself when she came across my picture.. She emmidiately tagged me. I was so guiros I left a comment on the picture which was on ig... It has been taken down from ig but it still remains on her website under the very aggressive miracle waist shaper ( my pic is of me in my blue turquoise bikini ) This lady won't respond to my emails, has blocked me & my friends/family members from ig.... I am pissed because these are my results from doing insanity... She was also on CBS Miami news about her waist trainers & my picture was shown in that report as well.... I have even contacted the news reporter who did the story but she has not gotten back to me.... Everyone is telling me to sue but I have no money for a lawyer & all I really want is for my picture to be taken down ..., if you ladies can plz help by contacted her on ig & leaving a comment maybe she will listen.... I'm so frustrated

Get a lawyer. This is a huge lawsuit. My cousin was a model and her picture was used in a large casino's ad. She saw her picture up on the freeway! Anyway, she did not have money either and called a lawyer. With cases like these you are guaranteed to get compensation, and the lawyer will take payment from your compensation. Good Luck!

Go to the website of one of those law firms that advertises on TV.      Find one that has a place where you can just enter your situation so they can screen it before/without you having to formally hire them or commit to anything.    Make it clear that you can and only will pay them from any proceeds they get you and make sure that's in writing before you agree to anything.      Don't tell them that you don't care about the money even if you don't.

Get a lawyer who will sue on a contingency.   If you win (which you will) then the lawyer gets paid.  It would be easy money for the lawyer.

Thank you Ladies... I think I am going to have to go that route... I really didn't want to but it seems like that's the only way I'm going to get my picture down from her website... I keep you guys posted as to what is going to happen... Someone told me I should be flattered that out of all the before & after pics on the web she chose mine...I was like you got to be kidding me,I feel pissed not flattered... I worked my ass off to get these results & someone stealing my pic & profiting from it is so not flattering...

Was the image copyrighted?

If you put it on the net with no copyright, it's fair game.

You can't put stuff in the public domain and yet have an expectation of privacy.

It's false advertising I guess... But she never directly SAID your pic was actually one of HER before and afters... I'll be interested to see what an attorney has to say.

I don't see anything.  You should have made screenshots of everything and went to a lawyer.  Keep all forms of contact you get from her in case you  need it.

Mobile Photo

Screen shot everything and keep records of you contacting her and being blocked then get an attorney!
