I'm preparing to take a residential care aid course that will take 6 months to complete. I tried to enter this program before and it fell through because there weren't enough applicants with funding. I have been told that i would work well with the elderly. I think the course is very practical & it wouls lead to a lot of work.

You mean like direct support/ CNA? Eh it's ok. Just know shit rolls down hill and you get to do a lot of the grunt work. Good luck, it's not for everyone.
