funny spooky movies

Looking for a spooky family friendly movie that's funny. Like haunted houses and ghosts, but not a horror movie with blood and gore. Something like the "spooky" episodes of the Three Stooges, Abbott and Costello, and Blondie, I know these are old-school but most new ones that I know of have a lot of blood and gore, so they're not family friendly. Any suggestions?

Transylvania 6-5000, Monster Squad, Rocky Horror Picture Show, Buffy the Vampire Slayer (the TV show may have been dramatic, but the movie is totally campy), Casper, Hocus Pocus (I have yet to see that one, but I've heard it's good--soon as Netflix adds it, I'll give it a looksee).

What age kids are we talking about?

Halloween Town. It's a TV movie that was made for Disney, I think. It's cute.
I like Hocus Pocus as well.
Buffy the Vampire Slayer -either the tv show or the movie...the movie came first and is VERY different than the tv show. Both at good for completely different reasons.
I Married an Ax Murder - I remember it being funny but don't remember how "family friendly" it is.
Arachnophobia is good.
Beetle juice is GREAT!

Littlest Vampire, Halloweentown (there's a whole series of those), Hocus Pocus, Casper (dozens of versions of these), Hotel Transylvania (one of my top newer favorites and bound to be a classic), Addams family (the show and the movie series)...

I really liked Nightmare Before Christmas and Charlie Brown has one as well. I think it is called The Great Pumpkin but I am not sure.
