"Millionaire Matchmakeris not just a reality show, but is in fact one of many types of matchmaking services that exist all over the U.S.  Many of these matchmaking services charge hefty fees for men, and more often, little or nothing for women who want to meet these men.  The catch?  These women often have to meet strict criteria (e.g. good looks, fit body, education, etc.)  to join the service.

What do you think about the matchmaking industry?

Are these women gold diggers or can they be perceived as having high expectations?

What about the men who pay $$$ to meet these women?  Are they desperate or do they, too have high expectations?

I've seen that show and honestly, the men who sign up are freaks.  No wonder they can't meet women despite their alleged millions.  I wonder how these men are vetted - do they have to show bank statements to prove they are in fact, millionaires? It would be interesting to see couples who have successful marriages after meeting through a service like this.Hehe, the no. 1 gold digger was well-deserved!

Those men have to be really desperate.Which is strange because normally when men have a lot of money, they have no problem getting women. The women are obviously gold diggers, but I'm not knocking them.

I'd do it in a heartbeat if I weren't already married.  Why not?  It would be a fun adventure and you might meet a decent guy who is probably too busy to deal with the normal BS that women put men through.  This cuts through the chase.

But I do agree that many of the men that were on that show arent my type.  I would never have anything to do with a man who worked in the porno industry or anything related to it.

I wouldn't...I'd rather find someone that I will have things in common with, would be able to spend time as a family instead of being absorbed in his job, and have a happy life with even if it means having to struggle for the rest of my life.

Have you ever had to REALLY struggle financially? I mean, every month not know if you're going to have enough money to pay your bills, your rent, buy enough groceries? Have you ever lost a house because you just couldn't afford the mortgage anymore? Ever had to borrow money from family just to put clothes on your child? I've been through all of the above, and let me tell ya, love is awesome and all, but I'd fore-go love in a second if it meant I would never again in my life have to worry about those things. That would be a HUGE amount of stress that I would never have to deal with again.
