LEARN HOW TO FREAKING DRIVE OR STAY OFF THE ROADS!!!!! (Edit, so no one thinks I'm out for drama!!)

• I tottaly  agree. I was almost in 3 accidents today. The 1st one was  an old man was driving on my side of the road. He could barely see over the steeringwheel. The 2nd A teenager ran a red light, THANK GOD i was slow in going thru MY GREEN LIGHT. The 3rd time an old lady was driving behind me and tried to pass me when a car was coming the opposite way(i was on a 2 lane street) I was able to move over just in time. It was in downtown where there is no passing. Come on i drive a red van can they not see me?

  I agree any one should be able to see a big red van.  What were they thinking?  Big Red, the old man thought you were a stop sign!  The teen thought, before you crank up that gas hog and expose 10 gal of gas to global warming, I'll be dead any way!  The old lady thought, if any thing happens, I'll talk my way out of the ticket with sex and if that doesn't work, I'll lie and say I'm having contractons and I'm on my way to the hospital to have a baby!  LOL

• Lol, you think twice is bad? I have been almost hit at least 5 of 7 days of the week for the last several weeks! Its getting ridiculous, and NONE of them were my fault!  I feel like everyone here is in such a hurry, they dont care about anyone else.

  Like, there have been so many times when I am driving the speed limit (exactly, not under, not over) in the far right lane, so I can stay out of everyone's way, and someone will come racing up behind me and just barely cut around me, like missing my bumper within maybe 2 inches.  

  Then I was on my way to work, heading west, at speed limit, in the far left lane, cause I had to turn left in about a mile, and all of a sudden, someone pulled out of a parking lot on the other half of the street (the side where cars would be going east) and crosses and apparently wants to go west, the same way I am.  So they pull out, and I assumed that since I was obviously going 40 mph (the speed limit) in the left lane, and there was not enough time for them to turn in front of me, they were going to stop and wait til I drove past, but NOOOO. They pulled out in front of me while I was going 40, and I couldnt have been more than 7 feet from them when they did that.  Like, umm hello? I honked, and started to swerve (no one was around me, I check every few seconds) and they didn't even TRY to stop, and instead of turning only into the far left lane, they pulled into the left AND middle lane, so I had to swerve all the way to the far right lane to not get hit. WTF???

  Then, I was driving south on another road, and had to turn at the upcoming light. It was green so I had the right of way, but a car coming down the same road, but heading north, decided he needed to go to the gas station that was on the corner that I was turning at, and instead of waiting for oncoming traffic to clear, so he could turn left across MY GREEN LIGHT, he just sped and turned through, as I was starting to turn, I had to slam on my brakes, because not only did he turn when it was MY right of way, he turned into the far right lane, and then into the gas station, not into the left lane like he would have been legally supposed to, had he actually been following the law.

  Some people are just not qualified to drive. I'm sorry, but wherever you are trying to go can wait long enough that you don't seriously injure or KILL someone else.  Leave earlier if you need to, but don't put my 9 month old son's life at risk because you cant manage your time correctly.

• As i was read she only said truck which truck can go different ways like pickup or semi. and i have notice that someone put semi down and all she said was truck so please ask what kind of truck then just thinking its a semi

• I bought a brand new car 10.5 years ago. It's been hit 1 time for every year I've owned it. 1 of those was my fault and I paid out the ass for a freaking SCRATCH that I put on her car. I've left tire on the road more times than I care to even think about. Appearantly red ISN'T a universal color

• I know how you feel, I HATE people that drive like they're the only ones on the road and have no common courtesy for anyone.
  

  I was almost in three different car accidents in one night. The first one an old couple was pulling out of a restaurant into the right lane (2-lane road) and they just continued to merge in front of my car. I laid on the horn and managed to avoid getting hit but c'mon watch where you're going!

  The second on happened a few minutes later in a confusing intersection...they have a lane to turn left onto the highway, and right after that there are two lanes to turn left onto another road. Well someone decided to try and use the first turn lane to get to the second set and when the car in front of them stopped at the red light they swerved back around in front of my car and slammed on the brakes! I was about 1/2 a foot away from their bumper by the time I stopped my car.

  The third happened in my own parking lot...I had pulled into a parking spot but wasn't straight enough so I put the car in reverse to straighten out. Well this moron comes flying into the lot (it is a very small lot, only five paking spaces long) and almost takes out the back end of my car, then slams on the brakes and gives me a dirty look. I was hardly moving so I was able to stop, but my car slid on the sand in the lot and that scared the crap out of me.

  I was also about 7 months pregnant at this point with my almost four year old son in the car, so needless to say I was NOT happy at all.

• People are crazy.  I hate driving because of it.  I have often been in the carpool lane with my kids, going the speed limit and people roar up on my butt.

  Then when I move over, they take off at about 80 miles an hour.  It's crazy.

  My favorite thing, I don't know if this is just in my area or not, is the people who do their "full stop" four feet away from the stop sign.

  When they see that I am coming up a bit before them and they might have to (gasp) wait for me to go first, they instead stop four feet behind the sign, and then roar through while I'm coming to my complete stop in the correct place.

  I don't know if I am getting old and crotchety or if people are getting that much worse.

• when i worked for an insurance company  they said the following colors of the vehical may have an impact on your insurance cost (meaning grater cost) Black, Red and Yellow due to they  are very easy for a cop to see on radar and  the accident ratings

  Some people drive way to agressive on the road. I try to always go the speed limit and when people get right on my tail its scarry because I never know when I may need to make a quick stop. No body pays enough attention when they are driving.
