...for a good parking space?

I was just at walmart and saw a guy waiting as this woman was unloading her full cart of groceries, just to get her parking space because it was like the 5th or 6th space in... Unless there is NO parking I do not ever stalk anyone through a parking lot and wait on them. It makes me nervous when someone does that to me!! When my son is with me I will scan the lot for a good spot, but my favorite spot is the one right next to the cart return so I dont have to carry DS very far!   I'm not one to drive up and down the rows for 5 minutes.. I just park and walk.

How about you?

  • I'll sit and wait for a close spot, but I won't follow people around the parking lot.  I'm usually not in a big rush, so I don't mind waiting for someone to unload their cart.

  • I'm an impatient person, so I will go down the first row and park wherever I find a spot.  I'm not afraid to walk!! LOL  In fact, the exercise is good for me!!!

  • I'm with you!! No wonder so many Americans are over-weight, too many people want to exert the selves a little as possible.

  • Yeah, I just park and walk. If I happen to come at the right moment and get a good spot then that's a bonus.

I really hate wehn people wait on me.
I have two kids to get into car seats and a stroller to put up...I'm going to be awhile.
    Don't get testy with me!

  • It's pretty hot and humid where I live, so I'd rather walk as less as possible in the heat.  I don't mind walking from the back when it's cooler.

  • I usually park farther away because there's less of a chance of people parking next to my car stupidly.

I hate when people sit there waiting for people as they are unloading their carts, it is seriously rude and they get aggravated when you take too long. I remember someone did that to my mom and just to be mean she loaded up the car, and went back into the store lol!

  • I hate it when people sit there and wait for a spot I'm in. I have to load the kids into the car, buckle them up, get the groceries in the car, put the cart away...in all that time they could've found a different spot! Usually though I try to park further. Walking for me isn't that bad. Unless it's raining or something. LOL

  • I'm not really picky, but in the winter time, 20 below 0, pretty desperate...I'll even park in the stall that says pregnant woman parking if I have to...lol...What the hell, I could be 2 days pregnant for anyone knows, pregnant is pregnant, like that will ever happen, but still...No kidding, they have a pregnant woman parking sign next to the handicap signs here...

  • LOL...it never fails, for me...I'll park my truck at the farthest end of the lot, where not even the seagull go, with no other car around  and I'll come out of the store and all the spots around me will have a car in it.  I always find that amusing...I don't park there to get away from the other cars...I just do it so I don't have to wait for a spot!!
