I'm not due for my period for 2 weeks. All of a sudden, I have a very light period, almost like the beginning of a new period. Any idea what could cause this? Before you ask, it is possible I'm pregnant, could that cause it?

if you are pregnant, it could be implantation bleeding

otherwise, depending on your BC (if you are on it) you can spot mid-cycle

If you take any kind of contraceptive, you could have random spotting.  Changes in activity levels, diet, stress....a lot of things can throw you off.  Just call your gyno and speak to a nurse about it.

Not sure. Like the previous poster mentioned, it could be implantation bleeding if you are pregnant. Have you had sex recently? Rule out that if it was too rough, or any type of new birth control. Otherwise it's very possible you are pregnant and the bleeding is from implantation. I hope you find out soon! Good luck!

Well, we're not using any BC, so that's out. Thanks for the advice!

I'm in the same boat. About 3 weeks ago I started spotting. We had sex like a week before that and I am now a week late. But all the preg. tests came back negative. So now I am just waiting. There is still the possiability I am pregnant, I do kinda hope that I start soon. I have a 3 1/2 year old and a 6 months old. And I am sure worring is not helping anything.
