What is the weirdest thing you've ever had in your fridge?

I've had weirder things than this, but at the moment I have two praying mantis casings with 200 developing praying mantis' in each casing.  I am not quite ready with their new home (a cage of sorts), but I will get it ready and let them hatch by tomorrow night.  I am planning on taking the little guys to school in the fall; by then they should be easier to actually see.  I'm teaching biology this year. . .

What is new (or old) in your fridge??

  • My husband cut his thumb off about twenty years ago.  He put it in the fridge to take a shower before going to the hospital.  YES he would not let me take him to the hospital without a shower first.  He is CRAZY!

A human thumb? What was that doing in there, lol.

I had to keep my Nuva Ring in the fridge.

  • The cat wasn't dead.  My son thought it would be good to put the cat in the fridge to cool him off one summer when he was 4 or 5.   POOR Cat made a big HUGE noisy mess in the fridge and I saved him.  Then same son put the same cat in the dryer once.  Yes my son was a challenge.  Thank Goodness e grew out of his animal cruelty.

Euewwwww!  A human thumb beats anything I've EVER had!!  A cat body is somewhat strange, though. . .

  • I had a dead puppy.  I had taken it home with me while it was really sick to try to nurse back to health but it had died overnight.  So I had to put it in the refrigerator to take with back to work with me.  I was a vet tech before I became a sahm.

  •  Wow compared to some of you, my list is not strange at all, I have had

paint brushes (freezer)When i have been painting and wasn't done with the brushes but i was going to use the same color again it's easier than cleaning the brushes all the time

cat food I don't use a whole can at a time and I stick it in there when it's hot out since it smells gross

pot I used to put it in there if I wasn't going to smoke it right away

Hot glue sticks, for some reason they melt faster if you put them in the fridge before you use them.

    pregnancy calendar
