How to keep 2yr old entertained on plane????

We are due to go to Caribbean soon and it is a 8.5 to 9hr flight. I will be travelling on my own with my 2yr old. She will have her own seat and a TV in the seat in front but she won't watch for more than 15-20 mins at a time cos she looses interest. Its a daytime flight and she has just decided that she isnt going to have naps anymore during the day! I'm hoping though that with all the excitement she might drop off on the plane for a hour or 2.......Wishful thinking.

Anyone give me any ideas? thanks in advance.

We used to take long car trips. I got my daughter books on tape (now it's probably cd's) but she could listen to that, maybe some crayons or small blocks. Put a bag together of new stuff special for the flight.

It did cross my mind lol But then i thought I would be considered a bad mum and it might go the other way and make her more hyper! (it does when I take it)
