that isn't doing anything today? its the fourth, obviously, and everyone i know is going to the lake for all the festivities and fireworks. Us? We're sitting at home, with no car because its broke down at the inlaws, and nothing to do. My MIL works all night so we can't do anything with her. So yeah.......no fireworks for my girls, who love them, and nothing for us to do. We'd go to the pool here at the condo but there are already about five hundred people there. So I'm sad =( Hope everyone has a happy and safe fourth, though.

umm nope- you are not alone.  We *might* go to a bbq with some friends, but I am not sure.... I dont like driving on holidays, it is safer to stay home with all the drinking and driving morons out there.

We did fireworks here with my oldest having some friends over. 

May go on our boat some today.  We will probably sit and watch the 4th of July shows on tv tonight.

we may do that....i wish i had something to at least do crafts with my kids or make some rice krispies treats or SOMETHING special...but since we dont have a car, we're low on groceries....we're eating like ramen and spaghettios lol Oh well..

We don't have any family around, so we're just staying home.  I got some sparklers for the kids to do, but that's about it.

 Awwww, I'm sorry.  My brother is having a get-together at their house.  I'm the only one in my family that can go.  My dh and teenage dd work.   Hope your day gets better!

 We are bbqing at our house and going to the fireworks, and watching the race ( well atleast part of it), that is what we are doing today.

I am having a 13th birthday party for my son today and then going to the fireworks. As for actvities you can do, have some relay races, a water fight, play kickball or baseball. If the kids are old enough, talk about what it means to them to be American. Write it down and put it in a scrapbook or save for when they have kids of their own.

I'm going to make a banana cake and some cookies (got a book of easy desert recipes for kids) then going to my husbands best friends house for some yummy food and beer.

We never have plans for it. DH will grill for us & that wil be about it

no plans here. i am recovering from having my son on monday lol so i get to sit at home and watch tv. maybe i will have dh grill some hotdogs or hamburgers. maybe i will tell him to call some friends over to drink.
