that isn't doing anything today? its the fourth, obviously, and everyone i know is going to the lake for all the festivities and fireworks. Us? We're sitting at home, with no car because its broke down at the inlaws, and nothing to do. My MIL works all night so we can't do anything with her. So yeah.......no fireworks for my girls, who love them, and nothing for us to do. We'd go to the pool here at the condo but there are already about five hundred people there. So I'm sad =( Hope everyone has a happy and safe fourth, though.

  • Nope, I'll be home watching the concert from Washington, DC and taking care of the dogs so they don't freak out when the idiots next door let of their illegal fireworks!!  @#$%

  • My 15 year old  is hooked on ramen noodles.  She loves them and eats them a few times a week.

    Quoting Princess_Paden:

we may do that....i wish i had something to at least do crafts with my kids or make some rice krispies treats or SOMETHING special...but since we dont have a car, we're low on groceries....we're eating like ramen and spaghettios lol Oh well..

  • We did $200 worth of fireworks last night.  You can buy them in Wisconsin but they are illegal to set off.  So dumb.  Do they really think people are going to take them to another state to set them off.  Several neighbors had them also last night.

  • We get the Macy's NYC  fireworks which I will tape and after the DC ones, the Boston Fireworks are shown here.  I liked it when they showed the concert in Boston and the fireworks.

  • i love ramen noodles too, but under the circumstances when its all we have to eat, i'm not too happy with it. I usualy eat them dry with the season over it. I like the crunch.

  • The family will be going to a bbq and fireworks on the lake at another family members, but because we have my mother-in-law living with us and she has Alzheimer's. She and I will stay home. That would be too many people and way to much stimulation for her. We will hang out, watch some tv together and just keep her on her schedule. If you have to be at home today, don't worry about people partying without you...be proud that we are all Americans. And be thankful we arehealthy, and have the friends and family's we have. God Bless You All
