Need some decorating ideas

Hi everyone. I need some ideas for my kids rooms and am at a big of a loss. We're going to be moving in the near future, and I'd like to decorate their rooms in the new house, but want something that I won't have to change in a year because they have outgrown it. My son is 11 and my daughter will be 3 in a few weeks.

I'm thinking of doing my DD's room in something art related becuase she LOVES to draw. I thought of getting her an eisle or putting chalkboard paint on the wall. I thought of getting DH to make something fancy and put a chalkboard inside it. Here is one pic I found. I haven't found too many though.

I love the table. I would really love to make their bedding as well, but for this theme I'm not really sure what to do for her. She also loves her stuffies and blankets, takes them everywhere, but I don't want to do something like that and have to change it again soon.

For my son I was thinking of a music theme. He loves The Beatles and found a couple pics that he liked.

He LOVES the bed. lol. I thought of seeing if my DH could make a giant record to hang on the wall or something. He already has a bed so I don't know if that bed would really work with what he already has. I also thought of painting a mural on his wall of The Beatles.

Any ideas would be wonderful, esp with pics. lol. My son likes a lot of diff. things, but I thought this one would work for years to come. Thanks everyone.
