i'm 22 weeks and 1 day pregnant. tuesday night was the last time i fully felt the baby moving, and before i went to sleep it felt as if she was kicking my spine. wednesday i felt a few movements. yesterday (thursday) it felt a few more when i was eating ice and it felt as if she was playing with my bladder. this morning (friday) i have felt a little bit but not a whole lot while drinking ice water.

is this normal? or is it something i should contact the doctor about. i have an appointment on tuesday already, but should i try to get in there sooner?

im not a doctor so i cant tell you if there is anything to worry about but i would think that if you feel the baby move then there is nothing to worry about.... but dont take my word for it call your doctor and ask you dont need to go in to ask a question.

i know that babies always move more when you eat or drink something cold.  what was the babies movements like before you got concerned.  if it bothers you that much call and get and earlier appt it is always better to be safe then sorry.  the further along you get the less the baby will move cause they are developing there own sleep routine.  is this your first pregnancy?

i wouldnt worry. some days their up and at it constantly and some day their more calm and chill. now if it goes on for a few days then yes i would contact your ob but for one day not feeling kicks is not a big deal. it happened to me alot and she came out perfectly healthy and beautiful! it just depends on the babys attitude and how they feel that day

yes this is my first pregnancy and i kinda figured out her sleep routine. most of the time she would sleep till about 10 am and then move a lil, sleep through lunch till around 3 more a lil, sleep till dinner, and move at night when i watch tv. but now its like her movements have decreased. before she would jsut be moving all over. if something was touching my belly she would kick at that.

if i had changed my sleep pattern would had changed hers?

Eat you a nice healthy meal make sure you have protein and carbs in this meal. Then drink a large glass of ice water and go lay in a dark, cool quiet room. LAy on your side and hold your belly and really focus on your baby. Now lay there for about an hour and count how many times the baby moves. Just like us if the baby is tired or not feeling well he/she will not move around as much. But you are feeling her moving. Also you can get busy and not feel the baby as much as you are getting used to the feeling and you don't jump every single time. Afte you do this call your doctor with your concerns and let them know you have done this and what the results were. Good luck and stay calm.

YES DEFINITELY!! LETS SAY YOU GET A 3RD SHIFT JOB AND YOUR UP FROM 11-7 SHES SLEEPING ALL THAT TIME BECAUSE YOUR MOVING AROUND AND THEN WHEN YOU GO TO BED SHES UP SO YES IT DOES CHANGE BASED UPON WETHER THE MOTHER IS HAVING MOVEMENT OR NOT BECAUSE THE MOVEMENT PUTS THE BABY TO SLEEP! IT ALSO DEPENDS ON WHAT YOU ATE OR DRINK.. SPICY THINGS TEND TO KEEP BABYS UP AND AWAKE OR JUST A LIL SHAKE OR SOMEONE TALKIN TO YOUR BELLY CAN WAKE THEM UP AND GET THEM EXCITED.. THERE ARE MANY FACTORS THAT CHANGE A BABYS DAILY ROUTINE WHILE IN THE BELLY

WELL I KNOW EVERYONE IS DIFFERENT BUT MY BABY NEVER REALLY MOVED. I DIDN'T START FEELING HER MOVE UNTIL I WAS LIKE 8 MONS. I MOSTLY HAD A SHARP PAIN ON MY SIDE  OR MY CHEST AND I WAS TOLD IT WAS HER. BUT I CALLED THE DOCTOR EVERYTIME I FELT ANYTHING WEIRD. I WASN'T GOING TO TAKE ANY CHANCES. I DID OVEREACT ALOT BECAUSE I COULDNT SEE HER AND I DIDNT EVEN KNOW IF SHE WAS OK. BUT IT TURNED OUT GOOD AND I DONT OVER REACT ANY MORE CAUSE IM ABLE TO LOOK @ HER NOW. BUT I DID CALL THE DOCTOR JUST TO MAKE MYSELF FEEL BETTER.
