Question... Is your child a boy or a girl? Do you pronounce it like Jay se, or Jaycee? My sons name is Jace, but i pronounce it as JASE just spelled it with a C. Reading a magazine the other day, and it said that it is now a common name for a girl, but i always thought a girl is jaycee. Does anyone mispronouce their names? I have had it a few times...

My dad's friend has a son named Jace. Pronounced like yours as well.

my son's middle name is JACE pronounced Jase same as yours, never had a problem though and if I saw it , I wouldn't see it as JAYCEE.... and I think it is a boy name...

my boss' son is named jace and everyone calls him jason which annoys him. but its pronounces jay se like it was spelled jase

I have a daughter named Jacy. Yes people mispronounce her name all the time, it drives me up the wall, and I do correct them. It was not a very popular name when she was born but since than it has become one.

I don't have a child name Jace personally but a friend of mine does. It is a boy and they also pronounce it Jase. I don't think it seems girly at all.

My sons middle name is Jayce - I have never had anyone mis pronounce it yet?! I think Jayce for a little girl would be cute but I think it is more traditionally a boy name.
