its that time again, hubby leaves out tomorrow morning at 5 and he is starting to get cranky.     He always acts this way when he leaves.    No one is happy about his leaving.  He doesnt want to leave but knows he must.    I am trying very hard not to take his action personal but its hard since things have been so rocky for us lately.   We hit rock bottom 2 yrs ago and have been working our way back up to surviving and hope to be ahead before to long.

Does anyone else hubby get this way?  I see it as my hubby way of keeping it together for himself and the kids.  In other words he unknowlinyg acts like this so we want him to leave, so its not so hard on us.   it just makes me stressed and upset.  No matter how bad he acts I really ever like to see him go.  Its hard to explain how he acts really.   Just think PMS.

If this is anything like what we go through here, its not him pushing you away so his leaving is easier. Its really that he doesn't want to leave and he is cranky because thats how he deals with the pain of leaving you.Remeber that guys gernerally don't deal with their emotions well.

We go through that every time my husband leaves. I think we take turns getting cranky. Its hard on all of us.

OMG we both do this. We always will have these petty arguments right before he has to leave.  It doesnt matter if he is home a month and everything is going beautifully...we always get moody when it comes time for him to go to work.  Its hard on both of us. Hell even the kids at this point handle it better than we do. LOL  I still get tearful when he goes- and it has been years.  Oh well its our routine-  I wished we could all just go with him though.

thanks for letting me know that this house is not the only one like this.    this time he was home 5 days because of the way his load delivered.  All was good until the last day he was to be home then it was like having a house of two PMSing people.  .
