It's not all companies....my husband just got a raise, company waived the 90 days of work so far. He has been home when needed and was even back to help me move out of our apartment. He has worked for others so I know the problems (Swift, Knight) but this company is different, smaller and really cares about the people who make the money for the company.

The same happened with us. But mine is still on training this is new to the both of us. His trainer is taking like 2 days off every other week and is makes me so mad. I understand that he should get to see his family too but why don't they hook the students up with people that live in the same area. I hope it gets better.

THEY LIE all the time I could make a huge list :( one is if they keep you out longer after the hometime request had been apporved they will pay 40.00 each day they keep you out...... the he learns that hasn't been in affect for awhile. :( he was 9 days past coming home when they said he could. that also told him he'd get paid more and get a bonous 1,000

My goodness, my husband is just now leaving to go with a trainer for a company and this will be his first trucking job, and after reading all this I'm horrified. :(
