It's after 1am

Tonight is one of those nights that suck. I can't sleep and of course df is on the road. I can hear our beautiful little girl snoring and talking in her sleep over the monitor. Sometimes I hate being with a trucker! But then I remember that that trucker is my Chris and I love him. I can't post this in any other group because no one understands how hard being with a trucker is. Our daughter is 14months old and already say daddy don't go when we take him to the truck after a few days at home. It breaks our hearts to see her so upset that he Is leaving. This isn't a life she choose she was born into it. We have been doing thus for 2.5 years our daughter for her whole life. Some nights and some days are hard.

Stick in there...We have three kids and it is really hard cuz our 5 yr old does the same thing...He has a hard time excepting that he doesnt see his dad all the time...my other two dont really understand but my 2 year old has learned daddy comes back...so she will learn with time...and we are here if you need us...my sister is the same way...her dh is the military and she told me that this job was so much safer than her dh...i had to set her straight...i know it is hard and hard for ppl to understand.

So sorry you are having a rough time with it.  I could lie and say it gets better but in reality there is an ebb and flow (not sure if i spelled that right) to it.  Some times are better than other times . Be strong.  I have been living the truckers wife  life for 20 yrs.  Maybe I am used to it.  Hang in there .

I normaly do better but for some reason early this morning I was having a rough time. I handled really well normally. Some days are harder then others big I feel like I handled it all pretty well most the time. Thanks ladies! We are lots better today

I have been in the mind set your in alot.  My dh has been driving for 2 years and I dont like it.  The money is great but the time away is horrible.  I try to keep busy alot and plan for our time together.. Big hugs and happy thoughts to you and your little one.

The mony is petty good alows me to be a SAHM ad i love that. Its a tough life and ven though you couldnt tell rom my post i do love it most the time. I maybe crazy but i like my me time and i get  enought this way.

I have been feeling the same way lately. I'm not sure what I will do because it is sooo hard some days and I take it out on him.  Then other days I am perfectly sane, lol.
