Warning mommies they have a fatigue survey test for truckers that isn't pretty..

 Thursday night hubby took me on a road trip in the truck, we went into a weight station then had to pull  in the back here they asked hubby to do a fatigue test well i guess Mn, Indiana and now iowa just added it this survey will put your hubby set back another 10 hrs and if he takes off he will get fined 10,000 and acouple of yrs in jail, now what do you think about that? while i was sitting there i called are lawyer and satfely guy about this so they can stop this ASP well in the 3 hrs of waitting they have checked off  alot of stuff that would make us sit. examples   His shirt size, his pants size, if he wears boxers,white tighties or none at all, tv, books, mag, are checked off, my stuff like bra's underwear are called adult toys whitch we all know they are clothes. then its the mind of the trucker if they agree to do this  they get a check and if they don't do this test its a check so really it's a no win, then its the clothes  remind you check check again. As i am looking up about this i have found Capt Ken Urquhart a highway patrol made this test and found out that some people have already put a a lawsuit and they have a story about a trucker and his wife that had this happen to them. I was so pissed and still am that we got treated like robbers and the messed up part they aren't even Dr so really they have no right  to say we are tired when we aren't.  sorry had to vent but i am going to put some  info  about this ..

WOW this is unreal! why get bad points for most items on that list ,like having conviences of a cel phone,computer,tv,videos. what the hell and having food items. this is ubserd! sorry you had to go thru that.

Imagine that.....another way the DOT can stop us, fine us, or put us out of service,,,,When will they do something about the cars on the road that the driver is drunk or another way impaired to drive....or they have been driving for 18 hours straight...or they are in a big ass hurry to get somewhere...which is the cause of most accidents...when are they going to let the drivers who follow the rules run their trucks and support their families????  Lord knows the DOT officers have the opportunity to....

Things are really going bad out there .They find a small loop hole & they screw a trucker every which way they can.Did u no that if a wife or other has a bottle of tylinol in there purse sitting in the cab of a truck, with in reach of the driver ,that if u r pulled over they have the right 2 search your purse.They can jail u 4 illegal substance.U wind up losing everything.It down rite sucks.I agree with the other lady ,its all a money trap, and its not fair.

Don't they realize that we need these drivers! Where would the world be if it wasn't for our drivers? I mean that's just crazy! Most of the time it's not the drivers causing the wrecks anyway, it's the 4 wheelers not paying attention. My Dh has been driving 25yrs & has yet had a wreck that was his fault. Know who's fault it was? Yep it was the 4 wheelers! Man stupid people think they are still going to get their houses built out of air, what happens when they no longer have food at their local stores? Ok I'm done LOL

this is a load of BS!!!! what the hell does a persons clothes have to do with whether or not a driver is too tired to drive? you would think that they should double up their forces and put them down south at the bored and be more concerned what is being drug (literally) across the border. I always tell my DH to get enough rest because "even if the accident isn't your fault they WILL find some way to make it your fault" I just don't get this... do they blame the conductor of a train when a car is hit on the tracks? NO it is the driver, well when you have 80,000 lbs of truck/trailer coming down the road what the heck to people think they can stop on a dime? Maybe i am getting off track here from the original post but one thing i do believe in is this: Every person in the United States should have to ride for one week with a Truck Driver in order to get their drivers liciense and 1 day to renew it, if they can't because of a job/school (take vacation time) if they still can't oh well don't get a drivers license. maybe then people would start getting it. (but i doubt it)
