Ok, well I know it's harder to keep girls and boys close from an age difference because well they are different. But thinking about it, there are some good things about it, for instant younger siblings love to do what older ones do so this is the perfect time for teaching. You can start with ABC's and 123's. It's never to early to start a child learning, so why not have the older sibling start teaching? Make it a game, start off with only a few at a time and then slowly add on to it and then next thing you know your young child is singing their ABC's and 123's. This is what I have my older son do and well my daughter is catching on, she can already count to five and count down from three. The ABC's are a little different, though if you have the song playing she will try her best to sing with it. Also we bought our daughter the V-Smile and this thing is great, because our son loves to play video games so she tries but the games are a bit out of her league so the V-Smile comes in handy and they both play it so he is helping her learn and it's in the good way with all the letters and numbers and shapes and colors. So this is a few ideas that I am sharing. If you have any others please share I am always looking for new things for them to so together at times because each needs their own time.
