I know this isn't decor related lol, but it is home related. My husband and I think we have a clog in the plumbing vent, did anyone ever have this issue?
I cry at plumbing problems! Why do you think it is in the vent? What is happening? We had major problems a while back and had to have roto rooter come with the cutting snake cuz we had roots growing into the outdoor tiles that go into the sewer. It wasn't as expensive as we expected, but I also know now that we could have rented it from home depot and done it ourselves!

I think its the vent because there's gurgling when a toilet is flushed and we've had a plumber out before they ran a snake through as did my husband to find no real blockage.
The blockage is probably out further to the street then you husband could get with his snake. My dh is a plumber.... he has a regular toilet auger and he has a Big K-50 You might need to call in a plumber that has a bigger snake. If its just your toilet it will most likely be no big deal unless you have roots growing in the line somewhere out in the yard. Sometimes a plumber will have to remove the toilet completely to snake and or also snake through your roof if there is a vent.

Oh...... a plumber already has? Are you on city sewer or septic tank? If septic it might be getting full or a blockage could be on the city side of the street.

If you actually get a blockage and something overflows you can always call the city & they will come out & check their side of the street. I would tell them a plumber has already been out! Good luck!
