Have any of you converted your garage into a living room or family room? We are about to start that project and I'm trying to figure out the transition between the current house and the garage to make it feel like its always been part of the house. i dont want it to feel like it use to be a garage.
Anyone done this and do you have pics?
My SIL converted her garage into a family room b/c her inlaws moved in. So she had to make her dining room a bedroom and this way, they had their own family room and entrance when family came over. Her house is still for sale . Let me find some pics.
Sorry,this is all the realtor had on here. the garage was turned so you didn't see doors in front of the house anyway. It had 2 single doors...they put in the triple window and door. You walk in the door and up a few steps. The table you see is right in front of the doorway and then you could turn right to go into the kitchen/hallway. Not sure if this is any help.
