My dh found these windows in an old barn, and the owner who gave them to us, said that they are about 130 years old. I believe him, because they had about 130 years worth of dirt and grime on them!

This is what they looked like after I scrubbed them down

And this is what they look like after painting and a light sanding to keep the rustic look

I'm considering enlarging this pic (in black and white) and splitting it between the 2 frames....idk yet

Very awesome! I love things like that!

I got an old window at a flea market...painted it and put scrapbook paper and pics of my granddaughter in it. They are held in with scotch tape so I can change them or the paper easily...

Sorry its kind of dark...the pic was taken awhile back and its the only one I had on the computer at the moment.

I like the simplicity of the windows hung just how you have them.

Thanks everyone! I'm glad to finally have something on that wall. The blank wall was driving me crazy:) I still can't decide whether to leave it be or add a pic. But I tend to be a slow decorator. I'd rather leave something empty or blank until I decide what I really want to do with the space. So, for now, I'm going to leave it blank until I make up my mind. Thanks for the advice.
