Italian Renaissance Design

Isn't this an interesting home? I passed by it yesterday, during a caravan. It was built in 2005 and it's 90% completed. Never been lived in. I thought it was much older because it did look a bit run down so I was surprised to find out it was a fairly new construction in the Italian Renaissance style. It's in Winter Park, Florida. Going for One Million.

Any takers?? I would love to sell it to you. lol.

At least you're getting something for your money there...

this is what 1 million gets you in my neighborhood...
less then 1/2 acre, 2.5 bath, 2765 sf.

Yes, the home is 10,000 sq ft. It's amazing how much other homes cost in locations like New York, etc.

I'd definately say it's interesting!  Doesn't really look like somewhere I'd like to live though!  It's pretty, but doesn't really look like a home!

It looks like a mausoleum but I like unique homes. I would take it in a heartbeat.

If I were wealthy, I'd be fairly extravagant, I suppose.  I also like old homes with ghosts in them and just overall strange places.

I enjoy going to old cemeteries and reading the plaques, like those in St. Augustine or Key West.

I think it's beautiful! But, it doesn't look very homey. It would be a great B&B though. I wouldn't know what to do with that much space, and I definitely wouldn't want to clean it, lol.

If someone can pay 1 million dollars for the place, they can afford a housekeeper. lol.

Homey is what you make it. Afterall, a family makes a home, not a house.

It looks a little like a mausoleum but it's interesting.  I would love to see the inside!
