Over 12 months- updated thread with new pics! Another update!! It's done!!!! Pic HEAVY!!!!
So.....5 months have went by.....and not much progress has been made
I do have a subfloor, a new air jetted tub, frame work for a built in cabinet and holes in the wall patched ready for paint!
Here is my color scheme
The shower curtain is shown to the left propped up on the espresso finish cabinetry, the wall paint swatch (linden), the floors will be the tile laying down they are 12x18, the walls of the shower will be done in a geometric pattern using the glass tiles (shown on the left) cut down into smaller sizes and the lighter gray tile in the middle/right propped up. My bath matt and towels are shown on the right. Hope to make lots of progress now that the tile is here!!!
This is what one of the bathrooms in my house has looked like for over 6 weeks! We redid this bathroom when we moved in almost 9 years ago, and now we are doing it again...slowly obviously!

It has been over six months now! Here is where we are....still a long way to go!

The tile on the floor and on the bathtub surround has been finished. All of it still needs grout, but we are FINALLY making progress! Hopefully it will be finished soon!

AND here it finally is!!!! Don't mind my toilet paper in the upper storage space!

Love this tile!
/bought this and hoped it wouldn't clash - perfect!
and one final pic - track lighting - NEVER thought I would EVER do track lighting

I almost fainted! It brought me back to when we totally finished the upstairs, then tore it out to change the layout. We went without a bathroom up there for about 3 months and it killed me!!! LOL
What you can't really tell from the pic (the 2nd pic), that coming right into the bathroom, after tearing out the subfloor, there is a HUGE 4 ft drop, we aren't sure why...but it happens to be right above our built in TV cabinet in our family room, so it was very loud when my husband was working on it.
When we first started demo. we didn't expect this project to take so long, but my husband got unexpectedly busy with work and travel so things have moved SLOW. We do know have a subfloor, and the plans are to continue working on it this weekend.
