My kids love these!

PIGS IN A BLANKET
Printed from COOKS.COM

1 can of Crescent Rolls
1 package of hot dogs
4 slices of cheese - I like using singles, white american or havarti, but you can use your favorite type of cheese.

Preheat oven to 350°F.

Cut a slit the length of each hot dog.

Place 1/2 of a slice of cheese in slit and around hot dog.

Wrap crescent rolls around each cheese-filled hot dog starting with the widest end and keep wraping until point comes around.

Place on ungreased baking pan for approx 25 minutes or until pastry is golden brown.

Enjoy!!

Growing up in the North whenever anyone talked about Pigs in a Blanket, they were always referring to cabbage rolls and when I moved south and they would talk about pigs in a blanket I got so excited because I thought I was going to get a cabbage roll and then got a hot dog wrapped in a cresent roll.

I do like them either way though but I still prefer a cabbage roll.  LOL

We love these only we use sausage links instead of hot dogs.

I like mine without cheese but my husband always puts cheese on his.  We dip ours in mustard (me, I like mustard and sausage) or syrup for hubs and the kids.
