ok...we just found out that we will be hosting a party for a large group of dh's friends and theire wives and children..this is a very close group and we had a halloween party not that long ago, but i wasn't expecting to do a christmas party as well.  since we have the most space and biggest yard, we will be hosting this year.  i was not ready for this.

so...i need some ideas to add a few extra decortions that are inexpensive as well as child friendly.  and i need some ideas for games or activities that will be fun for all.

anyone got any ideas :)

Tons of paper snowflakes! Add some glitter and hang with fishing line. :)

A game you can do is take a bag of cotton balls & dump them out. Blind fold older kids & give them a large spoon to scoop the "snowballs" into a bowl. You can also get a large poster board & draw a snowman & have them pin the button. Or draw just the face & cut orange triangles for pin the nose.
I'm going to think of more ideas. I love planning parties!

if you do the hot chocolate bar and candy can theme you should have a jar of candy canes to stir your hot cocoa with too!
