What kind of flooring do you have in your house?

We have wall to wall carpeting except for entry ways, kitchen and bathrooms. We will carpet rooms new in 2013

We live in a rental and we have the crappiest carpet in our living room and bedrooms and in the kitchen is the ugliest linoleum ever.

 If we ever have a house of our own I want hardwood throughout.  LOL

currently we have shag carpet (i know, right)....and then in the kitchen and bathrooms we have linoleum.  the plan is to rip it all up and put hard wood down in the main rooms and a low maintenance tile in the kithcen and bathrooms

I have 18 inch travertine tile throughout the house(except for 3 bedrooms), even the stairs are tile..I also have green onyx tile at the fireplace..

 pergo floors in the living room, laminate in the kitchen, carpet in the upstairs hallway and bedrooms, tile in the bathroom. in a week or two i'm replacing the carpet in the upstairs hallway and one of the bedrooms.

Yep.  In those areas, we have tile.
