Which would you rather have?

Two seperate closets that are 5ft by 3.5ft?

I think that with the large closet one could find more ways to organize it. And if DH didn't have a lot of clothes, more room for yours.

We have two large, double closets (not walk-in). Technically, one is for dh and one is for me. However, mine has 2 rods that go across, one at top and one at bottom, so I have no place to hang long dresses and robes. DH's has one side with top and bottom rods but the other side is just one top rod, so I have to take part of his to hang my dresses. The smaller closets are limiting. I've always thought if we had one large walk-in it would be easier to configure individualized, customized storage.

 When we finished the upstairs we made 2 seperate closets...each is huge and takes up one wall. Wouldnt have done it any other way!

I live in a small house w/ small bedrms.  In this house I would most like the one big.  If the rms were just a little bigger I might think differently.
