Any suggestions? Thanks so much!
on pinterest, i ran into how you can DIY cheap canvases. you could do a collage of your family on there..

You have lots of options! Just remember to keep things to scale. I love the look of large clocks, they are functional and a great space filler. I have a large clock above my fireplace and another in my dining room and love them both! When I looked at your pic, the first thing that popped into my head is artwork - specifically poppies!! Poppy prints are very easy to find right now, here are a couple that I love!

You mentioned a large family photo...but you wouldn't have to do overly large, a better fit might be to take 6 or so 5x7 prints matted and framed in matching (or coordinating) frames and hung in 2 symetrical rows on the wall.
Another option, that I am a fan of, is floating shelves. They are perfect in a space like this.

I think that I'd put family pictures on the wall in a grouping.
I love that second poppy print!!! It's so pretty!
I like the grouping of famly photos. Maybe I'll do something like that for now since I have lots of pictures floating around.
Thanks girls!

I like that idea as well!
I would continue with what you've done, and break it into 2 areas. On the entry side, I'd put a mirror. On the couch side I'd do a gallery wall with family pix.
